# SMS verification (10DLC)

> Register your business so texts can send from your own number.

US carriers require A2P / 10DLC registration for application-to-person texting. Open **Sidebar → SMS verification**.

**Before approval**, missed-call and other transactional texts may send from Ring Attendant’s shared toll-free sender and include your business name.

**After approval**, texts send from your business line.

You must publish **three public pages** on **your** website before submit. Download our starter templates and paste them onto your site:

- **Privacy Policy** (for example `/privacy`) — must state mobile numbers are not shared for marketing, message frequency varies, and msg & data rates may apply.

- **SMS Terms** (for example `/sms-terms`) — must describe your SMS program and tell customers to reply **HELP** or **STOP**.

- **SMS Program / opt-in disclosure** (for example `/sms-program`) — step-by-step explanation of how customers consent when they call or text your business line. *Required* — campaigns are rejected without this page.

Before submit, we check that all three URLs are live (HTTP 200) and contain the required wording.

*Submit accurate business details — they should match your public website and legal name where applicable.*

You may receive a one-time code on the mobile number you list for the authorized representative. Keep that phone nearby when you submit.
