# FAQs

> Common questions about trials, calling, texting, and accounts.

### How long is the free trial?

New qualifying accounts get a 7-day free trial. You can manage or cancel from Billing → Manage in Stripe. We show the trial end date on the billing overview.

### Do I need special hardware?

No. Forward calls to your existing cell, use the web app for SMS and settings, and optionally install the iOS app for in-app calling and text alerts.

### Where do missed calls go?

To Ring Attendant voicemail (not your personal carrier voicemail), when forwarding times out or after-hours routing sends callers there. You can also send a missed-call SMS.

### Why aren’t texts coming from my business number yet?

US carriers require 10DLC / A2P registration. Until approval, we may send from a shared toll-free number that includes your business name. Submit SMS verification and wait for approval.

### I signed up with Google — how do I set a password?

Go to My Account → Profile. Social accounts see Set password (no current password required). After that you can sign in with email too.

### Can my team share one number?

Yes. Invite teammates under Team, assign roles, and use shared inbox/call history for the business line.

### What is Jarvis?

Jarvis is the optional AI SMS assistant trained on your business profile. Separately, Ask Jarvis is the in-app help chat for using the product.

### How should I set up where calls ring?

On Phone Line → Settings choose Personal cell (one forward-to number), Ring in the mobile app, or Call flow (Business+). Call flow covers phone menus, several numbers in order, and different open vs closed paths — publish on the Call flow tab to go live.

### What happened to Reception / smart routing?

On Business and Scale, those live inside Call flow. Choose Call flow on Settings, then build the menu or ring order on the Call flow tab and publish. Legacy Reception and Routing tabs remain only on plans without Call flow.

### Can I keep my existing phone number?

Porting and import options are available from Phone Line add-number flows when your plan and Twilio account support them. Contact support if you need help with a transfer.
